Epilepsy is more than seizures.  Every story matters in this fight.  Here is our personal story of WHY this matters...

Pilar had her first seizure at the age of four in 2016. Fast forward to today - multiple EEGs, hospital stays, and three surgeries later! Pilar's quality of life has been drastically improved by all the medical advances made possible by research and advocacy. But there is still so much more to learn about epilepsy since every person's experience is so unique. Throughout our journey with epilepsy the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego has been by our side offering support to our whole family for free. Join Pilar's Posse by either walking with us in the 5k or donating to her team to support the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego. 

Sharon's Ride.Run.Walk San Diego is a 15-mile Bike Ride or 5K Run/Walk.  We are raising money to help The Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County so they can provide wraparound support services and programs at no cost to individuals and families affected by epilepsy.  Join the movement that brings our community together to educate, spread awareness and make a difference for the people we love who live with epilepsy.  Please help me support this cause - JOIN MY TEAM.
