Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death, and it has deeply affected my own family. My mother is a kidney cancer survivor, and many of you remember Larry’s courageous battle with esophageal cancer. The fight against cancer is incredibly tough—but there is no medicine more powerful than hope.

All of the funds raised by the Challengers support cancer patient care, research, community outreach, or education and training at The University of New Mexico Comprehensive Cancer Center in Albuquerque.
Participants are called “Challengers” because in addition to completing our own personal Challenge, we challenge cancer together in our efforts on September 20, 2025. Cancer affects us all, so we are “all in” to fight cancer together.
