Ok...this is the last time, folks. 25 years of RATPOD is coming to an end on June 27th. I have 3 goals: raise as much money as I can for Camp-Mak-A-Dream, finish the ride somewhat intact, and cross the finish at least a 1/2 a wheel ahead of Peter Lambros :)
When I first rode this route, Ceci was in diapers, we stayed in the dorms at the University of Western Montana, and Jack used the garbage can in our room as a urinal because we were sharing the communal bathroom with all the riders with gastro issues. Good mems...since then, the trip to ride, raise money and vacation in Montana became a family staple. Now Ry & Cec are in college and Jack regularly uses a real bathroom. Progress!
The life long friendships that I now enjoy have no price. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Phil, through who's efforts in helping create/organize this ride quite literally changes lives, including mine!
The Camp, the people who operate it, and most of all the Campers are just amazing. Supporting me on the ride means you are supporting a cause that does amazing work in the lives of young people with cancer. Any contribution, big or small, is SO appreciated!
