Yes, the night trail run and bike will be professionally timed by Race Day Professionals

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Participants must wear a headlamp/bikelamp and/or carry a flashlight. We recommend leaving valuables at home and coming to the event with only what you need for your run. For a complete list of items to bring, please visit here.

WHEN IS PACKET PICKUP?

Saturday, May 8, 2021 | 5:30 PM

Arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to YOUR respective wave start time. Bib numbers with timing devices will be available for pick-up only on race day according to your assigned start waves*. This will allow a socially distanced process with marked queue lines and less wait time. Your bib number corresponds to your race registration - no transferring of bibs is allowed. This is for your safety. Government issued valid ID required for bib pick-up.

*Start times will be assigned and emailed to all participants prior to race day.

WILL THERE BE A GEAR CHECK?

No gear check is available. We will provide a car key check-in.

Please consider not bringing any valuables with you on race day. Any valuables you do have, please hide them from plain sight securely inside your car. Life Time and race organizers are not responsible for damaged or stolen items.

WHAT KIND OF BIKE CAN I USE?

The terrain varies from gravel, grass, limestone and some concrete so the tire width and pressure is the most important thing. We recommend minimum of 40mm width for your tires (700x40) on your road/gravel bike. Also, just about any mountain bike and its standard tires will do great out there as well. As far as the tire pressure is concerned that’s somewhat more of a personal preference, you don’t want your pressure to be too high like you would run for a road tire or too low either. You generally want to have slightly higher psi in the back tire than the front tire.

WHAT KIND OF LIGHTS DO I NEED?

For the runners we recommend a headlamp if 120 lumens or more. For the cyclists we recommend at least 500 lumens and preferably it is a light than can be re-charged and that can be run at a setting that allows for the total expected ride time for you. Keep in mind that the sun will set at about 7:56 p.m., however, you will not need the light on until about 8:20 p.m.

DO I NEED TO RUN AND RIDE?

No! You can only choose one discipline. The races are held at similar times.

WHAT IS THE COURSE CUTOFF TIME?

There is none for either the bike and the run. We will wait for you.

IS THIS THE FIRST TIME FOR THIS RACE?

Yes! This is the inaugural year.
