LEGAL PRACTITIONER
With more than 13 years of legal experience, Jason has trial experience in bankruptcy, circuit and district court, as well as legal administrative proceedings. He is admitted to practice in the federal courts for the Eastern and Western District of Michigan and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Jason was named a 2008-2015 Michigan Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers magazine.
NORTHERN MICHIGAN COMMUNITY LEADER
Jason helped establish the free Commission on Aging Legal Assistance program for senior citizens. He has taught legal research and writing at Northwestern Michigan College, as well as volunteering for the Crawford County Divorce Clinic and the Third Level Crisis Center Free Legal Aid Clinic. In 2010, Jason served as a volunteer for his father-in-law, Justice Alton Davis’ Michigan Supreme Court election campaign. As a devoted family man, Jason is proud to coach his son’s basketball and Little League baseball teams. He is a board member of the Jason Potter Memorial Fund, an inductee to the Grayling High School Hall of Fame, and has twice finished the 120-mile AuSable River Canoe Marathon.

Jason returned to his hometown to practice law. In his current role, Jason has a general practice representing people throughout Northern Michigan. He is proud to be a small business owner in our community.
