Plan 9 Music is an independent record store that sells (and buys) new and used vinyl records, CD's, DVD/Blu-Rays, Turntables and Accessories, Clothing and more! We are proud Richmond natives and have been open in the Carytown district of RVA since 1981, so this July we'll be celebrating 45 years! Back in the day, we used to use the slogan "what a record store should be" and I stand by that! We pride ourselves on being friendly, inclusive, and caring one of the widest range of genres and formats in town. Bringing people together in a physical space through music is what we're all about!
