Hello friends/family/colleagues,
This July, I will be taking part in my 3rd The Great Bicycle Tour – TGBT XXXVII. I’m so excited about it and I need your help to raise monies for this amazing organization!
You may be wondering, what is The Great Bicycle Tour (TGBT) and why am I riding it? Well, TGBT is an amazing 4-day, 184.5-mile ride along the C&O Canal. It is hosted by a wonderful nonprofit organization, San Mar Family and Community Services, as its major annual fundraiser.
There are so many reasons for doing this special ride: to make a difference, a bucket list ride, a challenge, etc. But the most important thing that happens as a result, is that children and families who are facing some very tough situations, will be helped and supported through your donations to my ride!
This year this ride is very special to me. I’m doing this ride in remembrance of my Mom. She worked for Wash Co Dept of Social Services and helped families in need, much like San Mars helping families in need!!
