2nd Annual McKenzie Frenzy, p/b Hammel Dentistry: Saturday, December 1, 2019

The McKenzie Frenzy, p/b Hammel Dentistry is back!  Just like last year we have 10, 20, and 30-mile distances, and by popular request we have added a 50-mile Endurance class!  McKenzie Ranch is a machine-built trail system with 10 miles of fast, flowing trail.   Routes will be 1, 2, 3,or 5 laps around the outer loop.  To see the description and elevation profile for the course go to: https://www.trailforks.com/region/mckenzie-ranch/

All proceeds benefit Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists and local trail projects like 100-Acre Wood Bike Park!

Distances and classes are as follows:

10 Mile
Junior Men and Women (up to age 16)
Open Men and Women (age 17+ on race day)

20 Mile
Open Men and Women (all ages)

30 Mile
Open Men and Women
Master's Men and Women (age 50+)
Single Speed Men and Women (all ages)

50 Mile Endurance
Open Men and Women (all ages)

Other Information:

• Waves start heading out at 9:00 AM.  Riders must be on-site and ready to go by no later than 8:15 AM.
• SDMB members get a $10 discount with the code "SDMBMEMBER2019"!  We're going with the honor system on this one, but will do random checks to make sure folks using the discount are actually members.  Non-members who use the discount code will be barred from the race.
• Specific race information will be emailed to participants prior to the race.
• Youth ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
• All riders get a t-shirt and a free beer!
• We've added camping!!!  For 2019 we have a limited number of on-site tent and RV/trailer sites available (30' max length).
