Description
If you are training for one of the upcoming Epic Rides, a hilly race coming up or you just want to get strong on the bike then this is the ride for you.
We will gather at Starbucks at Quail Hill on Saturday morning with the plan to roll out at 7:00am after quick announcements and a group picture. Our route will take us from Quail Hill up Alton Parkway to Portola and then over Glenranch to El Toro where the real fun will begin. The path through Santiago Canyon will be enriched with at least one climb up Silverado. For those people looking for a little more practice in climbing, 2 climbs through Silverado is recommend. After Silverado, we will finish the climb out of Santigo and then head down Jamboree, Peters Canyon trail and over to University which will lead us back to Quail Hill.
The route link below should be used for navigating the route especially if you have never done it before. This ride can be customized for 40, 50 or 60 miles (actually more if you want to do even more than 2 repeats of Silverado). Before leaving on this ride, please let Kim know what your planned route is for the day.
