Are you ready for the Central Valley's newest SPRING Half Marathon events and our newly added bike events! Run or bike through picturesque trees and meadows on rolling groomed trails as you view beautiful vistas just minutes north of Fresno's River Park Shopping Center at Highway 41 just past Avenue 14. The Tesoro Viejo Classic Half Marathon will take you away from busy city streets to tranquil paths through some of the most beautiful SPRING scenery which rivals any run or bike ride in the State. Run start time is 8am and bike start time is 11am. Run, Bike or Both!
This event supports the Tesoro Viejo Conservancy. The mission of the Tesoro Viejo Conservancy is to preserve land, protect wildlife, improve access to the San Joaquin River, and educate the public about the region’s natural resources.

Packet Pick Up Information Friday May 12th 2pm to 6pm Fleet Feet Fresno - 9447 N Fort Washington Rd (Corner of Fort Washington and Friant) If you can't pick up your packet on Friday you may pick up Saturday near the start area starting at 6:30am.

2 Classic Runner Series in 2023
Double Header Series! Run any of the Tesoro Viejo Spring Classic Events, Half Marathon, 10k or 5k and also the California Classic Half Marathon, 10k. or 5k and receive a very special Double Header Series Finisher Medal.
California Classic Runner of the Year Series! Who will be named the California Classic Runner of the Year for 2023? The Tesoro Viejo Half Marathon is a 30 point race in the series. Click HERE to find out more.
LETS RUN THIS!
Participants will run from the main community Hub at Tesoro Viejo around the circumference of the Valley's newest community, over bridges, through tree lined lanes, to the kissing gate and around the lip of a majestic gulch which highlights the beautiful wetland preserves in spring. The course is mostly unpaved trails with rolling hills showcasing some of the most picturesque scenery around, just minutes from North Fresno! You'll have views of not only of beautiful green pastures but of beautiful new homes located in the community. Our half marathon has some mild hills where the 10k is rolling hills. Our 5k is 90 percent on paved trails and stroller friendly.
Trail Bike Ride
Ride options include 5 miles= A casual/social family friendly ride 15 mile= Intermediate level ride on Tesoro Viejo paved and unpaved trails. 25 mile= This route has been cancelled due to flood conditions at the river bottom. Advanced level ride includes Tesoro Viejo trails, down to the river bottom including Ledger Island and the Ball Ranch properties. WHAT TO EXPECT!
You will notice the difference in Tesoro Viejo Spring Classic event as each participant will receive a gender specific high performance short-sleeve event shirt. This Spring Classic event will continue to exceed your expectations at our Start/Finish Pavilion, in the middle of one of the Valley's newest communities, Tesoro Viejo, which covers 400 acres of groomed running paths among sprawling meadows and breath-taking vistas! After completing your run and receiving your custom finisher's medallion, you will be treated to a hot cinnamon roll and valley grown fruits.
We invite the whole family to come and enjoy as we are offering 10k and 5k routes as well. We also invite our out-of-town visitors to book a hotel at one of our host hotels just minutes from the start line.
