Hosted by East Bay Front Runners and Walkers 

Come join us at the East Bay's premier LGBTQ+ Pride Race, EBFRW's 21st Annual Pride Run and Walk! We are offering both in-person and virtual options, with running and walking events:

IN-PERSON PRIDE RUN OR WALK – At beautiful Lake Merritt in downtown Oakland

The race starts and finishes at the Adams Point picnic area adjacent to the Lake Merritt Sailboat House in Lakeside Park (on mapping apps: 568 Bellevue Ave., Oakland, CA) on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 9am. Events include a 5K walk, 5K run and 10K run. Registration for each event is $38.75 (including $3.75 in fees). No refunds or exchanges. Proceeds benefit The Pacific Center for Human Growth in Berkeley, Running for a Better Oakland, and East Bay Front Runners & Walkers. All participants receive discounted shopping at Sports Basement and Road ID, finisher ribbon, and a pride-themed giveaway item TBD. Top finishers receive medals. Finisher times will be available on our website and social media. The race celebrates National Coming Out Day.

VIRTUAL PRIDE RUN OR WALK

You have from Saturday, October 11, 2025 through Sunday, October 19, 2025 to complete your distance. Events include a 5K walk, 5K run and 10K run. You can complete your race anywhere you like. Please do so safely. Registration fee is $33.75 (including $3.75 in fees). No refunds or exchanges. Please send us your result no later than Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Proceeds benefit The Pacific Center for Human Growth in Berkeley, Running for a Better Oakland, and East Bay Front Runners & Walkers. All participants receive a PDF bib, discounted shopping at Sports Basement and Road ID, finisher certificate, and finisher ribbon. Print out your PDF bib and send us a photo of yourself wearing it. Finisher times will be available on our website and social media. The race celebrates National Coming Out Day.

Race staging is in the picnic area adjacent to the Lake Merritt Sailboat House.
Within Lakeside Park, there is a $5 fee to park on Bellevue Ave., nearest the staging area. Metered and non-metered parking is available on the surrounding streets outside the park. The location is about one mile from the 19th Street Oakland BART station. The AC transit #12 bus line serves nearby Grand Ave.

East Bay Front Runners and Walkers

EBFRW is a running and walking club for the LGBTQ+ community and allies in San Francisco's East Bay. In addition to hosting the Pride Run and Walk each year, we hold runs/walks every Saturday morning at various locations, open to members, guests and newcomers. We welcome people of all abilities. We also host a variety of social and community events throughout the year.
