General Information
The Moonlight 5K begins at 8:00PM.
The Twilight Kids Run begins at 7:15PM.
Both races start and finish at the Harford County Equestrian Center.
There are both restrooms and porta-potties at the Equestrian Center (the location for the start, finish, and post-race party).
There is no bag check for this race. Parking is located close to the start, finish, and post-race areas, so you can leave items in your car and access them easily before and after your race.
Plenty of race parking is available in the grass lots at the Equestrian Center. Please follow the directions of parking staff on-site.

We highly recommend attending the pre-race day packet pickup to avoid lines on race evening.

Yes, someone can pick up your packet for you. They will just need your Registration QR code that you can find either in your registration confirmation email or pre-race email.
How to resend your race confirmation email
Registration
All registrations are online and available until the race starts or it is sold out.
The Twilight Kids Run is for kids 12 and under.
2026 Moonlight 5K participants receive a short sleeved Brooks race shirt and two glowsticks at packet pickup and a finisher medal at the finish line.
Twilight Kids Run participants receive two glowsticks at packet pickup and a medal at the finish line.
You can change your shirt size up until you pick up your race materials (subject to size availability)

You can transfer your registration to another registrant up until 11:59PM on 7/10.
There is no fee to do so.

Race registration fees (and the processing charge from RunSignup) are not refundable. These funds are used to pay for race premiums, permits, supplies, staffing, and other costs incurred before, during, and after the event is held. To be consistent and fair to everyone we cannot make exceptions to this policy.

Course

The Twilight Kids Run features a loop around the Equestrian Center that is approximately 0.6 miles long.
There is one water station on the course that runners pass twice - at approximately mile 1 and 2.5.
Although we love dogs, they are not allowed on the race course.
Strollers and other wheeled devices are not allowed on the Moonlight 5K course as parts of the route are very narrow.
Headphones or earbuds are allowed but we ask that you either use open ear headphones (like Shokz which you can purchase at Charm City Run :)). If you use other headphones, please keep the volume low so you can hear all course directions from course marshals.
The course is measured for a 5K using the shortest possible path. Your watch may show a slightly longer distance as you weave around other runners, moving to stop at a water station, or take a longer curve around a turn.
Finish/Post-Race Party
The Moonlight 5K and Twilight Kids Run start and finish at the same location at the Harford County Equestrian Center.
Continue your celebration at the upper pavilion. The post-race party includes complimentary food and one beer from Independent Brewing Company (21+ only) -or- one Kona Ice in the upper pavilion for registrants.
Twilight Kids Run participants also receive a coupon for a free Kona Ice.
Charm City Run Mobile will be on site for shopping.
Additional beer is available for purchase for runners and spectators.
Yes, your cheering section is welcome to join you at the post-race party.
Food and the free beverage are for runners only, but Independent Brewing Company will have beer available for purchase.
Results/Runner Tracking
Results can be found on RunSignup using this link: Moonlight 5K Results. You can search by name or bib number to find your result.
If you signed up for text message notifications, they will be sent to you soon after you cross the finish line.
Yes, spectators can track you using the RaceJoy tracking app. They can send you cheers and you will get alerts as you hit mile marks. Download the RaceJoy app
They can also sign up to receive text or email alerts when you cross the start and finish mats. You do not need to carry your phone. Sign up for text or email alerts.
