Together you raised $42,500 to provide access to clean, reliable water. Thanks to you, Water For People will continue its work to provide water and sanitation and end the walk for water that millions of women and girls do every day.
Plan now to join us in 2024 for the 5th Annual World Water Classic. The Classic will take place virtually October 4 - 13, 2024. Registration will open in the spring.

Water rights are women's rights
It starts when they are four, sometimes younger, joining the older girls and women walking miles each day for clean water for their families. From there, every aspect of a young girl’s life—schooling, physical safety, health, economic opportunity, safe childbirth—is impacted by the lack of access to safe water and sanitation.
That's why Water For People created the World Water Classic 6k - to bring attention to the walks women and girls do each day to get water. And to provide solutions to end the walk for water.
Here’s where you come in. Join other supporters like you to run, walk, pedal, or get creative in support of reliable, nearby water access. Choose your own route and join from anywhere in the world between October 4-13, 2024. Registration will open in Spring 2024.
