When we opened registration for this year’s event, we were hopeful that by September we could have a modified in-person ride. Unfortunately, COVID-19 continues to present significant public health concerns and it became clear to us that it would be very difficult to conduct a ride that would be safe for the riders, volunteers, and the community. Without our signature event this year, we face an unprecedented challenge in fundraising to support our scholars. The Buffalo Bicycle Classic made the difficult decision to move to a do-it-yourself/virtual ride this year.
