An Important Update About The bRUNch Run 2025
After more than a decade of bringing the Denver community together through running, mimosas, and pancakes, we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel The bRUNch Run for this year.
Our small team has been working around the clock to make this year’s race happen, but despite our best efforts, the numbers just wouldn’t add up. Between steep international tariffs and the loss of key sponsorships, producing the event at the standard we hold ourselves to simply isn’t financially feasible right now. Like many small businesses, we’ve been deeply impacted by this year’s economic challenges.
As the founder and race director, I take full responsibility. While we’ve worked hard to prepare, secure partners, and stay ahead of deadlines, we were not prepared for a year like this—and we do not have the financial reserves to make up the difference. We wish there were a magic solution, but unfortunately, there isn’t.
All registered participants will receive a full refund. Refunds will begin processing this week and should appear on your next bank or credit card statement.
While we’re heartbroken to cancel this year’s race, this is not goodbye. We’re already working on putting together a smaller community experience for October 12, and we ask for your patience as we make this pivot. It won’t look like our traditional bRUNch Run, but it will still celebrate the things we love most—running, community, and connection.
In the meantime, our Brunch Running run club is still going strong! We’ll continue to gather, lace up, and share sweaty miles (and stories) together.
This race was born out of a desire to create something joyful and inclusive. And when we’re able to bring it back in its full glory, we absolutely will. Thank you for being a part of this amazing community. We’re so grateful for your support.
With love and gratitude,
Alexandra Weissner
