Pick up a bike map at City Hall or one of Carbondale's bike shops, Co-op, or print it from www.explorecarbondale.com/712/Bike-Carbondale

B1 - Ride in a new place

B2 - Run an errand by bike

B3 - Ride with a group

B4 - Ride with kids

B5 - Visit a bike shop

I1 - One ride that includes a bike path, bike lane, AND bike route (signs only) ***see bike map***

I2 - Create your own route - and then ride it!  You can create your own route using a free app such as Strava or Ride, or you can go the old-fashioned paper map route!

I3 - Clean your bike

I4 - Learn a new technique - standing to climb a hill, changing gears, etc.

I5 - Ride to a park

N1 - Practice changing or learn how to change a bike tire

N2 - Ride to the Farmer's Market

N3 - Ride from Downtown to SIU Campus on the Downtown bike path

N4 - Bring snacks on a ride

N5 - Ride to a park

G1 - Ride 10 miles

G2 - Get your bike set up with lights and go for a sunrise or sunset ride

G3 - Ride to a Library

G4 - Wave at another cyclist

G5 - Share a route or ride with the @BikeCarbondaleIL Facebook group

O1 - Ride through the bike tunnel!  The bike tunnel is part of the bike path on the west side of town, going under Highway 13 behind the Humane Society

O2 - Take the Bike Safety Quiz.  The Bike Safety Quiz can be found at www.rideillinois.org.  Check out Ride Illinois' many other cycling resources while you're there!

O3 - Ride to a coffee shop

O4 - Lock your bike on a bike rack
