What time does my race start?
- The Duathlon starts at 8:00 a.m.

What time should I arrive?
- We suggest arriving no later than 7:15 a.m.

Located in Cedar Creek Park, next to the first carparking lot on your left when you enter the park

Where are the restrooms located?

Park restrooms are open. The nearest ones are located next to the handball courts in the park.

I can't make it to Packet Pick-up. Can a friend pick up my race number?

USA Triathlon now allows coaches, teammates, friends, or family members to pick up a packet for the participating athlete. The person picking up the packet must have a copy of the athlete’s PHOTO ID and written verification from the athlete that the individual picking up the packet is authorized to do so.

Can I register at packet pick-up?

Yes, we will have registration and will accept CREDIT CARD ONLY. However, NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted.

REFUND

I can’t race, can I get a refund for my entry?
-
THERE ARE NO REFUNDS
- RaceAwesome will now allow athletes to defer their entry to the following year's race. This has to be done 31 days prior to Race Day. There is a $25 fee to defer your entry to the following year.
- You can transfer at no cost and at any time to the Virtual Race and your SWAG will be mailed out to you after the Race.
- If the race is canceled or postponed for any reason including a Pandemic / Force Majeure / Acts of God / Acts of Terrorism / Weather etc. all athletes will be transferred to the Virtual Race and your SWAG will be mailed out to you.

INJURED AND OR CAN'T RACE

Email us at RaceAwesome@RaceAwesome.com and explain your injury. We will then offer you the opportunity to come and VOLUNTEER at the event you registered for. In return for volunteering at the event, we will roll your entry over to the same race the following year at no charge. We don't require a doctor's note, honesty is just fine for us.

No, there are no cut off times for this event.

What's on the course for Nutrition? How often are there water stops? Are there portajohns?

There are no water stops on the course. Athletes should plan to bring their own hydration and nutrition for during the race. There are no portojohns on the course.

- There is no live app tracking for this event.

Are there Timing/split mats?

Yes, we will have timing mats for Run #1, Transition #1, Bike, Transition #2, Run #2 and Overall Time.

How do I get my results and splits?

Race results are posted LIVE online at https://runsignup.com/Race/Results/26596#resultSetId-539001 If you signed up for TEXT messaging, they will be sent to you soon after you cross the finish line.

Is the race chip-timed or gun-timed?

This is a GUN timed event.

Is there a bag check/drop for these events?
- No, we do not offer a bag drop at this event. Please keep your bag in transition with your bike.

Where can I park in Cedar Creek Park?

- Please note the roads in the park will close at 7:45am and remain closed until the last biker is off the course. You will not be able to move your car while the race is in progress.
SPECTATORS.

Can my family/friends see the start of the race?

YES, spectators are welcome. The start line and finish line are right next to each other.

Can they see me on the Bike and Run?

Yes, best place to view the entire race is right near the finish line / transition area.

Can my spectators bring pets?

Only service animals are allowed.

Can my spectators get into the park after the race starts?
- Yes, only if they park outside and walk in.

How much does the digital athlete photo package cost?

all photos are FREE

How do I get my AWESOME FREE photos?
- Over 2,000 photos will be taken. They need to be sorted and tagged with bib#'s. They will be available to download by the Wednesday after the race right here on RunSignUp with your results. https://runsignup.com/Race/Photos/NY/Seaford/CedarCreekParkSpringDuathlon

We will also have candid shots, and these photos will be published on our Facebook and social media pages.

Be sure that your bib# shows in the photo by placing your bib on your front torso or chest. MISCELLANEOUS

My shirt doesn't fit, can I change sizes?
- You can exchange sizes of unworn shirts after your event/race is complete, ONLY at the RACE-SITE, and only if we have extra shirts!

I decided not to race, can I get my shirt?
-
Yes, but only if you come to one of the pickups. We will not mail shirts post-race if you are not in the Virtual Race.

Will I get a finisher medal?
-
Yes, all athletes in all events will receive a finisher medal at the finish line.

Who gets an award?
-
Top three overall Male and Female.
-
Individual Age Groups, top three in each category: 11-13 (junior), 14-18 (High School), 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
Challenged, Clydesdale & Athena, top three in each category.
First & Runners Up for Mixed, Female, Male & High School Relays. -
Every athlete at a Race Awesome Event is important, from the first finisher to the final finisher. We encourage all athletes to stay and enjoy the post-race food & beverages and to cheer for the final finisher. The awards ceremony will commence as soon as the final finisher crosses the line.
