Loop D (3.27 Miles)

Loop D is the final 1/4 of the Half Marathon.  Loop D starts with .3 mile of grassy fields and paved trail, followed by 1.7 miles of wide, relatively smooth, and undulating equestrian trails, .5 miles of single-track, and then .8 miles of wide dirt road and grassy areas before finishing near the pond.  The exact distance of Loop C is 3.27 miles, with an elevation gain of 222’.  While there are some hills, rocks, and roots along the course, the majority of the terrain is not overly technical.

Cedarock Trail Run Loop D Technical Terrain Course Rating:  Overall 2+ out of 5 - (1.0M of EASIEST/EASY, 2.2M of MODERATE) (This is a fun and fast course)

1 - EASIEST (no technical terrain) (wide double-track (dirt road), smooth single-track with minimal rocks/roots, grassy areas, paved trail.  Some moderate hills) 
2 - EASY (some roots/rocks but mostly smooth sections of trail.  Some moderate hill climbs)
3 - MODERATE (more roots and rocks and some smooth sections of trail.  Some short punchy hill climbs and gradual inclines dispersed throughout.  Some 'flat' sections)
4 - DIFFICULT (a lot of roots and rocks.  Many short punchy hill climbs and gradual inclines dispersed throughout.  Few 'flat' sections.)
5 - MOST DIFFICULT (almost all roots and rocks.  Almost all hills, with very few flat sections)
