Yes, we allow baby joggers or strollers on our 1-Mile course. Participants are asked to start at the back of the start line area.

What is the color blast powder? And what is like running through a Color Blast Zone?

Our color blast powder is all certified non-toxic.  Our bright colors are a combination of Cornstarch, Calcium Carbonate Food Grade, Sodium Bicarbonate Food Grade TFF and FD&C (food-safe) dyes and is environmental friendly.
Some Color Blast walkers and runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. Our Color Blast Zones volunteers make sure to aim low as you pass by.

How do the post-race color throws work?

At the finish line closing ceremony, all runners and walkers are welcome to celebrate with gathering together to be involved in a large color throw creating a victorious COLOR BLAST. We provide one bag of color for each runner as you cross the finish line.

Do You Have A Cleaning Station After The Race?

We have air-blown color cleaning before entering the gymnasium. With a good dusting off, you won’t be 100% clean, but you’ll be good for the drive home. It’s always fun to see people still colorful around town after the Color Blast. It’s like a colorful badge of honor!

Will the color ruin my clothes or running shoes?

The color mostly washes out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It’s best to wear items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful.

Can I get a refund if I cannot participate?

Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for any of the events. Costs associated with the pre-planning and ordering of participant amenities well in advance of the race prohibit us from offering refunds. In addition, refunds are not issued if the event is cancelled due to severe weather, disaster or emergency occurrences that may affect the safety and health of the participants.
