Corolla Ten Miler & 5K Run

The Corolla Ten Miler and 5K Run take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Historic Corolla Park, on the north green of the Whalehead Club in the northern Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Ten Miler: 8:00 AM
5K Run: 8:30 AM
Register online at www.CorollaTenMiler.com. Registration includes your race bib, shirt, finisher medal, and post-race refreshments.
Limited race-day registration may be available if space allows. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee your shirt and medal.
Every participant receives:
- A commemorative race shirt
- A custom finisher medal
- Free entry to the post-race celebration
- Chip timing for Ten Miler participants
The Ten Miler course will be measured to USATF standards for distance accuracy. Final certification depends on timely completion of the permitting process.
Yes — tide conditions permitting, a 2-mile section of the Ten Miler course runs on packed sand with breathtaking ocean views. This stretch may include areas where wild horses roam.
Absolutely! Walkers are welcome in both races. Please note that the Ten Miler has a 3.5-hour time limit.
Yes. Both events are professionally chip-timed and managed by Mettle Events, a leading race management firm.
Packet pickup will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Historic Corolla Park. Exact times will be announced closer to race weekend. Limited packet pick-up will be available on Sunday, April 26, from 6:30-7:30 a.m.
For safety reasons, no strollers or pets are permitted on the course.
Yes. Multiple water stations, restrooms, and first-aid areas will be available along both courses.
Free parking is available at Historic Corolla Park and nearby locations. Volunteers and signage will guide you. VIP parking is reserved for race sponsors.
Yes! Awards are presented for both races to:
- The top three male and female overall finishers
- The top finishers in each age group
Yes! The post-race celebration features:
- Lively music
- Food and beverage vendors
- Sponsor exhibits
- Family-friendly activities
Spectators can also explore Historic Corolla Park, visit the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, and enjoy the community festivities.
