You can up-switch to the District Challenge as long as spots are available. Here's how:

1. Log into your RunSignup profile at runsignup.com/profile
2. Select DC Half Races
3. Select Manage Registration
4. Select Transfer Event
5. Choose District Challenge
6. Click the box that reads "Credit this registration with an additional $XX to use for any future transfers or refunds"
7. Hit Transfer Registration
