In 2017, Gina Allgaier and her family tried to help their son, Tristan, with his addiction.

Their efforts at finding the resources they needed ended the same way many families' searches do: frustrated with the lack of information and support.

Determined to help other families on the navigation journey with a loved one, Gina started Speak Up About Drugs. Through Speak Up, they educate, advocate, support and work to prevent drug use and overdoses. And while it may be a large goal Gina feels that their mission to get to ZERO overdoses is more important than ever.

Join us as a voice that humanizes the devastating effects of substance use disorder so we can offer resources, support and advocacy that can change lives and restore families, strengthen communities and elevate the workforce.
