The Dakin Family Scholarship Fund was founded in 2021 by the Dakin family in honor of Farren Dakin. He was a dairy farmer in Myakka City who loved supporting youth in agriculture in his community. The best way to pass on his legacy was to begin a fund that awards students who have a passion for agriculture and want to further their education past high school. There are several levels of donations, but any amount is greatly appreciated!
