The Topeka Turkey Trot is proud to partner with the Topeka Rescue Mission, a local nonprofit, for this year’s race. The Topeka Rescue Mission provides shelter, meals, and essential support for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or food insecurity. They serve thousands of meals each month, operate shelters for men, women, and children, and distribute food to the broader community. Beyond basic needs, TRM offers case management, job readiness training, housing assistance, outreach programs like Street Reach and the Mobile Access Partnership, and trauma recovery services—helping people move from crisis to stability with dignity and hope. You can directly donate to this organization through the race or by donating non-perishable food items from now until November 26th at the Topeka Fleet Feet store, or on race morning! All donations go towards helping this amazing organization, which supports those in need within our community.
