The Harvest Festival's Sugar Rush 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

This year, the Sugar Rush 5K will not only be a fantastic event for the community but also an incredible learning opportunity for our local high school students. These ambitious young leaders will be actively involved in organizing, marketing, and hosting the race. The sophomore class is responsible for the fundraising of the 2026 prom and this event will serve as their main fundraiser.  Under the guidance of a local race director, they will gain valuable skills such as:

• Professional communication with potential sponsors
• Designing marketing materials and graphics
• Budgeting and planning for race day
• Coordinating with volunteers and participants
