Help us provide 250 urgently needed pairs of sneakers for local children in need!

For a child in need, having properly fitting footwear in good condition is a basic necessity for their physical and emotional health.

A brand new pair of sneakers gives a child in need comfort as they walk miles to school or the confidence to play with their friends in the playground. Sneakers provide the stability and support needed for children and teens to move safely and comfortably through their world.

The increased cost of clothing and sneakers has put many families facing financial crisis in a difficult position as they raise growing children. 

Catie's Closet proudly supports this urgent need by providing sneakers through our special request system offered in our In-School Closet Program and our SOS Urgent Response Program. We offer a shoe sizer in our Closets to ensure every child has a properly fitted shoe.

To provide the greatest longevity and experience for children in need, we only provide new or like-new sneakers. While we receive some generous donations of sneakers in perfect condition, we are buying most of the pairs we provide to students.
