All of the proceeds from this race will go support The Mighty Mile. The Mighty Mile is a FREE mile race for kids ages 5 to 14. This is one of the main programs hosted and funded by the Michigan Running Foundation. All kids ages 5 to 14 in the race receive a tech shirt, finisher medal, drawstring back pack, custom bib number and a chipped timed accurate mile. We encourage kids across Michigan to start running and stay fit and active.
The Mighty Mile is held in 6 cities across the state of Michigan throughout the months of May and June. Last year we had over 1000 kids run the Mighty Mile for Free!
