White Chapel is proud that proceeds from the 2025 Patriots Race will again benefit The Michigan Wounded & Returning Warrior Program. A program of the Michigan American Legion Foundation a 501(C)3 and the American Legion, Department of Michigan serving and supporting veterans. MW&RWP runs a number of successful programs for veterans and their families, including:
– Returning veteran re-integration family retreats in Northern Michigan
– PTSD and Eco-Therapy Retreats in partnership with therapists from
the Michigan Psychological Association Foundation
– PTSD community educational presentations
– Emergency temporary financial assistance
– Home accessibility modification assistance
– Disability claims assistance and guidance
– Adaptive services provider, clinic and network guidance
