West Plains rides for Pedal the Cause event support the fundraising efforts of Pedal the Cause. 100% of the dollars raised by the Pedal the Cause community provide direct funding for cancer research, cancer discovery grants and clinical translational care not currently eligible for federal funds. Following the “venture capital” model seeding new ideas at our beneficiaries, Pedal the Cause dollars allow for proof of concept and cultivation of critical data. These burgeoning projects often lead to incremental successes that garner large external grants, which have produced groundbreaking treatments, clinical trials, preventions and early detection diagnostics.
