The Arc Northwest Mississippi is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Northwest Mississippi. Through a wide range of programs, education, and connections, we help individuals live their best lives every day.

We offer inclusive and engaging opportunities—from Job Readiness and social skills development to cooking, art, gardening, exercise, and more. Our goal is to meet each person where they are, support their growth, and promote greater independence and community integration.

We also support families by connecting them to essential services like Medicaid and Social Security, and by hosting parent support groups and events. We understand that this journey can be overwhelming, and we’re here to ensure that no parent walks it alone.

The Arc Northwest Mississippi is committed to educating the broader community. Whether we’re training first responders on how to safely and respectfully interact with individuals with disabilities, guiding professionals in inclusive practices, or simply sharing our mission with local groups, we aim to highlight the strengths and potential of the people we serve.
