The Downtown Rittman Beautification Initiative's purpose is to enhance, improve, and maintain the aesthetic, environmental, and civic appeal of downtown Rittman, Ohio, and public spaces throughout the City of Rittman for the benefit of the community by the planning, funding, installation, and maintenance of public beautification projects such as landscaping, seasonal plantings, flowerpots, public art and murals, streetscape enhancements, lighting, benches, signage, and other decorative or functional improvements that promote a vibrant, welcoming, and walkable environment.
