The Callahan Murphy Hare Foundation is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to raising awareness and funding for newer, kinder treatments for pediatric cancers.
Pediatric cancer research is historically grossly underfunded, leading to outdated many types of childhood cancer treating children with outdated protocols, and in some types of childhood cancer, so little research has been done that there is no protocol.
This funding gap leads to:
- Children largely receiving harsh, outdated therapies that are harmful to their developing bodies,
- Outdated and ineffective therapies that cause significant long-term impacts and fatalities,
- Limited access to active pediatric clinical trials,
- Extended lead times for new clinical trials,
- Grassroots efforts, like ours, fundraising to move the needle for pediatric cancer research.

CMHF is focused on supporting research projects in 2 key areas: immunotherapies for all childhood cancer types, and treatments and studies for infants with cancer.
