Houston's Sickle Cell Association - Living Without Limits
Sickle Cell Association of Houston is a family-founded non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, resources, and education to patients, families, and providers of care for those living with sickle cell disease. Our goal is to provide support and resources to individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease while advocating and educating the community on the importance of early diagnosis, proper management, and treatment of the disease in a safe and healthy environment for those affected by this rare disorder.
We continue to be a source of hope for our community as we are committed to providing quality services and resources via non-clinical supportive care. We provide information regarding treatments, trials, and ultimately a cure. We offer a variety of services including care coordination, medical transportation, navigational assistance, and case management.
We also have an extensive network of families and individuals to connect with and learn from; creating a community that is open to discussing the challenges of living with the disease and to support those who are affected by it.
