We are excited to announce that Abby's Legacy Foundation will be hosting the 2024 Color Run.

 

All event proceeds and donations made on this page will go to supporting St. Baldrick's Foundation and local non-profit EDMARC Pediatric Home Health & Hospice. All donations are tax deductible.

 

Abby's Legacy Foundation is a local 501(c)(3), founded in memory of our forever 15-year-old Abby who passed away in October 2021 after a long journey of childhood cancer & its effects. ALF's (Abby's initials) mission is to help make childhood cancer patients & families lives better through funding research, care, support and love.

We are excited that this year's proceeds and donations will be going to two outstanding organizations.


St. Baldrick's Foundation funds childhood cancer specific research allowing Abby to live for 11 years with childhood cancer and its effects. We continue Abby's legacy of supporting others and fund research for those fighting childhood cancer.


EDMARC provides family-centered home health and hospice for children with life-threatening illnesses through nursing, social, bereavement, and volunteer support. Their goal is to ease the gravity of pediatric illness and death and provide care for the patient and family as a whole. Families never receive a bill for any service EDMARC provides thanks to generous community support. Located in Portsmouth, Virginia, supporting families within our entire area.
