The EpicPromise Employee Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit funded by Vail Resorts, company employees, and the community. We provide over $1M annually in grants for unplanned hardships and educational scholarships to Vail Resorts employees and their families.
Foundation Impact: Since its founding in January 2016, the Foundation has given over US$6.4M to 8,500 employees through hardship grants and educational scholarships.
Employee Hardship Grants: Employee Hardship grants are awarded to assist with unpredictable hardship, such as an unplanned medical issue, home disaster or other life event.
Educational Ascent Scholarships for Employees: The Educational Ascent grant is a one-time scholarship of up to US$2,500 for U.S.-based Vail Resorts employees who are pursuing a degree or certificate program.
EpicPromise Scholars Grants for Dependents: The EpicPromise Scholars grant is a scholarship of up to US$10,000 for dependents of Canadian and U.S. Vail Resorts employees who are pursuing higher education.
