Virtual racing option: The actual racing course is 2.4 miles. You will be able to complete your 2.4 mile or 4k run/walk distance between January 5th and March 5th on a route in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, in your house, around your yard, or a course. After running/walking, you will email us your name, age, and time. This can be done by using an app on your phone, Fitbit, Apple watch, etc. and taking a screenshot or picture of the time, date, etc. There are a ton of apps out there that measure your distance and time very easily. Some of the apps include: MapMyRun, RunTracker, Runkeeper, Nike Run Club, Strava, and so on. The email address is: parkviewprek@gmail.com. In your email, you must include your name, age, time, and picture of your time and distance. Once we receive everyone’s times, we will then rank everyone’s times and declare the winners of the medals on March 1st following the in-person run. Medals, shirts (if purchased), and bags may be picked up on Saturday, March 7th from 7:30am to approximately 10:00am at Parkview Prep Academy.
