B: Our less advanced competitive category. Consider it a “Cat 3/4" Race. This also encompasses anyone who has a goal to compete beyond what the C race would allow. If people who are just trying racing want to race for less than 45 minutes, they can always drop out early.

Adaptive Bikes can be e-assist or 100% person-powered; all are welcome!

C: Fun only, it’s not results-focused. It is also completely unlabeled in terms of gender. This will be about the side quest, or about the hand-ups, or about trying something for the first time without the pressure of also competing at it. Any level is welcome, but everyone has to remember that this is about letting other people have their good time without getting in their way. If you go fast, that’s fine, but give all the slower people room to ride (or abruptly stop for whipped cream).
