Moonlight Ride for Hunger

Event: 4-Mile Ride
This event stays close to the bridges. This route is probably the best for any youth riders.

The start will be staged so that the faster riders will start before the youth rider and slower riders. Every rider is required to wear a helmet and have proper lighting (front light and rear reflector). Each bike will go through a bike safety check, sponsored by Madison-Davis Bicycles. All routes include a ride on each bridge (left lane only for safety purposes). Event packets can be picked up at Madison-Davis Bicycles (8th & Jefferson) on Friday night from 6:00-8:00 pm or on Saturday evening from 5:00-8:00 pm at Clatt Adams Park. Each rider will receive a tumbler cup and other "goodies" from our sponsors!

DIRECTIONS FOR THE 4-MILE EVENT:
Start at Clat Adams Park and head north on Bonansinga Dr. Turn right on Cedar St. Turn right onto 3rd Street. Turn right onto the Bayview Bridge (use left lane ONLY). Make a u-turn at first left and proceed onto the Memorial Bridge (use left lane ONLY). Turn left onto 2nd Street. Turn left onto Broadway St. Finish at Clat Adams Park!

Event: 11-Mile Ride
This route takes you across the bridges, out to Flinn Stadium, and then back to Clatt Adams Park.

The start will be staged so that the faster riders will start before the youth rider and slower riders. Start at Clat Adams Park and head north on Bonansinga Dr. Turn right on Cedar St. Turn right onto 3rd Street. Turn right onto the Bayview Bridge (use left lane ONLY). Make a u-turn at first left and proceed onto the Memorial Bridge (use left lane ONLY). Follow Maine Street out to Flinn Stadium. Turn around in Flinn Stadium parking lot and head West back down Maine Street. Turn right onto 2nd Street. Turn left onto Broadway St. Finish at Clat Adams Park!

Event: 19-Mile Ride
This route takes you across the bridges, out to Flinn Stadium, through the northern part of Quincy, and eventually taking advantage of the bike trail starting at Bob Mays Park. This route will then drop down on to Bonansinga Drive to take you back to Clatt Adams Park. This one is the most challenging of the routes and is recommended only for more experienced riders.

The start will be staged so that the faster riders will start before the youth rider and slower riders. Every rider is required to wear a helmet and have proper lighting (front light and rear reflector). Each bike will go through a bike safety check, sponsored by Madison-Davis Bicycles. All routes include a ride on each bridge (left lane only for safety purposes). Event packets can be picked up at Madison-Davis Bicycles (8th & Jefferson) on Friday night from 6:00-8:00 pm or on Saturday evening from 5:00-8:00 pm at Clatt Adams Park. DIRECTIONS FOR THE 19-MILE EVENT:
Start at Clat Adams Park and head north on Bonansinga Dr. Turn right on Cedar St. Turn right onto Third Street. Turn right onto the Bayview Bridge (use left lane ONLY). Make a u-turn at first left and proceed onto the Memorial Bridge (use left lane ONLY). Follow Maine Street out to Flinn Stadium. Take Maine Street to 54th Street and turn left onto 54th Street. Follow 54th St. until it turns into Locust St. Turn left onto Columbus Road. Turn right at 39th Street and proceed through Moorman-Wavering Park to 36th St. (turn left at the stop sign in the park). Turn right onto 36th Street. Turn left onto Kochs Lane. Turn left onto 18th Street. Make a right into Bob Mays Park. Follow trail to 5th Street. Make a right into Parker Heights Park. Turn right onto Bonansinga Drive. Take first left into Bob Bangert Park. Follow road in Bob Bangert Park to Bonansinga Drive. Turn right onto Bonansinga Dr. Finish at Clat Adams Park!

Event: Youth Ride
Youth between the ages of 10-15 are encouraged to participate in this year's Moonlight Ride for Hunger. All youth participants must be accompanied by a registered adult AND must donate at least one can of food for the Horizons Food Pantry.
