Ages 7-11 must ride with an adult and the C & O Canal Towpath is the best option. Fat wheels are best (not road bike wheels).
Ages 11-17 must ride with an adult and can opt for the Towpath or a road route. Keep in mind that the elevation will make this route more challenging than most.
