Event: Cranksgiving on Maryland's Eastern Shore
Participants will be given a list of designated store locations and food items that need to be collected at each stop. Riders will bike to the multiple grocery store or market checkpoints, buy the food or other items from the checklist and bike to the finish line! The first individual that arrives at the finish line with all the items on the list (and receipts from the markets) will be the winner! All participants must be over 14 and have parental consent if under 18. This event is weather dependent and could be cancelled.

Registration: $0 cost to register, must fill out a waiver in person the day of the race (available at the start location from 8:30am-10:50am).

Times: Check-in 10:30am, Start 11:00am. Finish time varies on the route chosen.

Distance: Varies depending on the route you decide to take; but this event will not go outside of the town of Easton. Knowing your way around the town and aisles of a supermarket will be advantageous.

Cost: This is a DONATION. Recommended $20 per person to buy the food items. Bring CASH, some locations will not accept credit cards. Keep your receipts for all purchases.

What to Bring: You’ll need your bike and $15-20. Participants MUST bring a helmet; no helmet, no riding. You should bring a backpack or other cargo solution for your bike to carry the groceries. This is a cupless event, please bring a reusable water bottle.

Event: Pre-race Town Cleanup Competition
Help clean the town and have some friendly competition! This is a local trash clean-up, all participants will have one hour to wander the town of Easton (by foot) and collect as much trash as possible. Groups are encouraged for this event!

Compostable gloves will be offered. All participants under 14 must have an adult with them at all times and participants under 18 must have parental consent. This event is weather dependent and could be cancelled.

Registration: $0 cost to register, must fill out a waiver in person the day of the event (available at the start location from 8:30am-9:00am)

Times: Check-in 8:30am, Start 9:00am. Finish time is at 10:00am, participants who arrive later will no longer be eligible to win.

Distance: Varies depending on the route you decide to take; but this event will not go outside of the town of Easton.

Cost: We encourage all participants to bring a can of any plant-based food, this is a DONATION to our local food pantries.

What to Bring: You'll need to bring your own bag to carry the trash in, we encourage participants to reuse a bag instead of creating more waste. This is a cupless event, please bring a reusable water bottle.

Event: Family-Friendly Cranksgiving

This category will not include any stores that cross any major roads.
