Feed The Beast - BCTC Summer Race Series

Saturday 9am, May 1st Touch the Tower 10 miler- This will be a live race with chip timing. This is a running race starting adjacent to the canal path at Durham Boat Drive and Canal Run, Washington Crossing, PA. Participants must navigate their way to Bowmans Tower via the canal path, take a pic showing they were there and get back via the canal path.

A map and general guidelines will be provided and participants may choose their way up to the Tower by trail. This course will not be marked so do your homework and listen to the race instructions to find the best way to the Tower.

This is the 8 mile TT course we have done in the past along Rt.29 from Frenchtown to Bull's Island. The 5/8 event will be a virtual hybrid and self-timed. There will be option to ride as a group. The 9/25 TT will be a live event.

This will be a live event in Core Creek park. The race will be part paved trail and dirt trail.

This will be a live chip timed 1 mile swim with the current if we get permission to access the river at the Quarry. If not it will be an up & back swim with approximately 500 meters up river and 1100 meters with the current down.

This will be a live chip timed 10K running race on the paved paths of Peace Valley park. The event will be an out & back starting at Pavilion #1 off Creek Road.

This will be a virtual self-timed event with options to race as small groups. Details to follow.

This will be a live race with chip timing in Washington Crossing park with a kids course as well. The race will take place near the camp sites in Washington Crossing park on the NJ side. Participants will complete in heats of 4 riders on the 2 mile loop consisting of fields, with sections of single track with a few features and a climb. The Kids course will be 1 mile exclusively on fields. You may ride the course up to 4 times to post your best time with the 4 best times competing in the championship heat for overall top 3 male & female.

The Duathlon will start and end at Bulls Island on the NJ side. The format will be 5K run on the Canal Path 2 loops of the 25.5 mile road bike with climb up Federal Twist otherwise it flat & fast along rt 29. Then 15K+ run back on the canal path to finish .
