Springfield VA Knights of Columbus 5K Fun Run and Walk

The Springfield VA Knights of Columbus annually hosts a fund raising 5K Fun Run and Walk . This 5K Fun Run and Walk is appropriate for the whole family (children in strollers included!). Event proceeds will go to help Virginians with intellectual disabilities through the Knights of Columbus KOVAR Charity (https://kovarva.org ) and to the St. Bernadette’s School Tuition Assistance Program (https://www.stbernschool.org). The race is held at beautiful Burke Lake Park, where a free barbecue lunch will be provided for participants and their families following the race. [Sorry, absolutely NO pets will be permitted on the course or at the shelter. The event will be held "rain or shine" - ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE PAID]
Award ribbons and prizes will be presented to the participants with the top three finish times within each age/gender category. Official results will be posted on the Reston Runners web site within one week following the event. ALSO, multiple random drawings for several additional Door Prizes will also be conducted for ALL event participants, regardless of finish times. ALL event participants are encouraged to stay for these drawings, held immediately following main the Awards Ceremony; You must be present to win!
