Cranksrising, 2017 Scavenger Hunt Charity Ride and Race
Women's Multisports of Richmond, Inc, is so pleased to announce that Cranksrising 2016 will have two events next year! The Classic Cranksrising will have approximately 8 stops and will involve between 10 and 12 miles of bicycling if done in the quickest way. The new, Advanced Cranksrising will have more than 8 stops and will involve between 20 and 25 miles of bicycling. Both Cranksrisings will occur on February 4, 2017 at ten am beginning and ending at the Richmond Bicycle Studio.
This ride can be done on any kind of bike and should take between one and two hours depending on how fast you are. The Advanced Cranksrising should take between 90 mins and 2 1/2 hours once again depending on your speed.
Pre-race day packet pickup will occur on Thursday, February 2nd from 5-7pm
at Lucky Foot at Willow Lawn for those racers who would like to pick up their manifest early and plan their race strategy. Otherwise packets can be picked up at the starting line on race day between 8:30am and 9:30am. All racers will receive a free beverage and free food at the post race festivities.
There will be a pre-race meeting for all racers at the starting line at 945am to go
over rules and to organize racers! The top three teams in each category will win
prizes! In addition, the team that goes above and beyond the call of duty and
brings in the most items to donate in addition to the required items will
also receive a prize.
