For 47 years, Mount Dora has been well-known to road cyclists – and we plan for year 48 to be no different. Come join us for this event and “Cycle Mount Dora”. The City of Mount Dora will be hosting the 2023 Cycle Mount Dora Bicycle Festival and we have planned the rides and entertainment to be an event for all to enjoy. We will kick things off Friday evening with a social 6 mile ride that will end with entertainment on Highland St. With a metric century, hilly routes and a Trimble Park 13 mile ride there are options for everyone. On Saturday & Sunday, climb the rolling hills that surround us. Choose your speed group carefully! And for the beginning (novice) cyclists, we have a shorter and easier ride too! Remember your water bottles (as hydration refills will not be offered in cups)! We offer FREE REFILLS at ALL our rest stops (snacks too). BRING THE kids! Both Saturday and Sunday Mountain Bike ride. Kids 15 and under are free with adult registration!! (Note: after registering please email us to receive your free youth registration)
Join us for some fun on the Mount Dora Mountain Bike Trail. Come test your endurance on the trails and face the natural elevation changes of Mount Dora. These trails are packed with natural AND man-made obstacles. Check out our new pump track and flow trail on the Forres Park side of the trails. These new jumps are making this trail a destination for all mountain bikers. From the fast and fun flow of GRAVITY DESTROYER to the punchy climbs of HELTER SKELTER, there is something for everyone. Feeling brave? Try the roll down PURE ADRENALINE! From drops to jumps to big wood bumps, the fun never ends.
Hospitality tents will offer hydration refills for your water bottles and snacks to keep you fueled at the MOUNTAIN trailhead.
*Shirts are available until September 16th*
