Sunrise 5K & Walk
Kick off your morning with a sunrise 5K or walk as the early morning low tide exposes the wide, hard-packed shoreline of Treasure Island’s beautiful beaches.
Perfect for Running, Walking or Strolling
For competitive runners and walkers, this is an out-and-back chip-timed 5K. For a slower pace, enjoy a 1-mile Fun Run or Walk—a great way to soak in the sea air and enjoy the sound of the waves. Gather family and friends for this fun event, or come solo and make new friends!
Little ones can burn off their morning energy in the Kids 100-meter Turtle Dash—a fun and fast sprint just for kids!
Finish off with a cool race shirt, medal, live music, local food tastings, and a complimentary beer, seltzer, or mimosa —all included with registration!

COMPLIMENTARY RACE DAY PARKING
The City of Treasure Island and Florida Parking are generously providing complimentary parking for all Run for the Beaches participants and spectators!
- Parking fees will be waived from 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Volunteers will distribute parking passes starting at 6:15 AM.
- You must display a parking pass on your dashboard — vehicles without a pass are subject to ticketing.

As the sun rises on race day! Get ready to run, celebrate, and make memories at Run for the Beaches!
Race Day Schedule
RACE START TIME
6:30 AM: Parking lots open with volunteers distributing parking passes
6:30 AM: Packet Pick-up & onsite Registration begins
7:45 AM: Warm-up stretches at the start line with LeeAnn, Top Shape Fitness, SPB
7:55: National Anthem - sung by Tammy Vasquez
8:00 AM: 5K start countdown by Mayor John Doctor (Attention 5K walkers: Chip timing will stop promptly at 9:20 AM)
8:05 AM: The Fun Run/Walk (1 Mile) will start after all chip-timed 5K runners and walkers have cleared the start line. Please wait for them to pass before beginning.
8:45 AM: 100 Meter Turtle Dash. The later start time allows family members participating in the chip-timed 5K or Fun Run/Walk to cheer their child on in the Turtle Dash.
POST-RACE FESTIVITIES
8:30 AM: NoFilter hits the stage — let the fun begin!
9:30 AM: Taste of TI opens for race participants.
10:00 AM: Awards ceremony for winners in each category.
10:15 AM: Raffle winners
10:30 AM-11:30 AM: Kids Activities - Fun tattos & give aways with Sunshine Sitters; Sea oat planting with Roots & Shoots.

CLOSING ACTIVITIES
12:30 PM: Time to say goodbye! We are thankful to our sponsors and to all participates supporting the Run for the Beaches cause.
12:31 PM: Relax and celebrate your success at a TASTE OF TREASUE ISLAND RESTURANTS with lunch, drinks, and good cheer with friends
and family. Or, set sail with SUNCOAST SAILING and enjoy the beautiful Gulf waters and seabirds.
