Summertown Surfin'

Lets get together and ride bikes!

Summertown is about an hour south of Augusta and the dirt roads are fantastic. The event is free and self-supported. I've rented out the community center for an after-ride potluck, so plan to eat after if you'd like and bring some food to share! The community center also has restrooms we're able to use before and after the ride.

This year we'll have two official routes and they will both start at 9:30 AM. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you want a longer or shorter course - we can give you some good roads to add on to your route!

Both courses also cross some private farm property that features a gorgeous stretch of doubletrack,  so please be extra respectful and refrain from leaving anything behind on that stretch; no gel wrappers or piss, please. I've spoken with the owner and he's agreed to let us ride this stretch as long as we're all on our best behavior, so make us look good!
