May The 4th Be With You

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, this event is all about pushing your limits while enjoying the great outdoors.  Don't forget, it's not just a race, it's a celebration of movement, so come and be part of the excitement

The Cherokee Outdoor YMCA’s May the 4th Be With You 5K trail run and fun run are a new and unique race for Cherokee County. The Cherokee Outdoor YMCA has been serving the community for over 30 years. This event also helps make important programs like youth sports, camp, and swim lessons, possible for EVERYONE in our community. This trail run will consist of 60% trail and 40% pavement to offer a unique experience for every runner. Please join us and be a difference maker in our community with your support!

Run, walk or stroll to help support this amazing facility.  All proceeds from our run will go to the Cherokee County YMCAs Why IT Matters Campaign benefitting the youth and families of Cherokee County

Packet Pickup:  Located at Fleet Feet Canton, 1431 Riverstone Parkway, #100, Canton, GA 30114 on Friday, May 3rd, from 10am to 7pm.   Race site on Saturday, May 4th, 7am to 8:15am.

Awards:  Medals for 1st Place Overall Male and Female, 1st place Masters Male and Female.  Medals for the 1st place winners in the following age groups: 14 & Below, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69 and 70+  

Costume Contest:  Come dressed in your favorite Star Wars attire!  1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons will be awarded to costume contest winners.
