We love it when our runners have friends and family to support them. We often get asked where are the best places where somebody can go to follow their runner.

For the 5k and the quarter marathon races, there isn't a really good spot. The only on-course parking area on those routes is at the Concord Rd crossing, a mere 0.8 miles into the race. If you catch your runner at the start, you'll be late getting there. If you catch your runner on the way back in, you'll miss the finish!

For the half and full marathons, the best place to see your runner is at the Alexandria Trailhead of the TJ Evans Trail, located near the half marathon turnaround. That is also just about a quarter mile away from the turnaround aid station, so feel free to walk on down and join the fun!
