Santi Strong Warrior Walk/Run for Life

This is a donation 5k walk run to raise money and support Santiago Banda during the fight for his life. If you cannot attend, please consider donating anyway.

We call Santi a warrior for a reason!  Because the term extends far beyond physical combat.  Warriors exemplify courage, resilience, and determination.  THAT IS SANTI!!! 

Santi is such a courageous boy. at 18 months old, he has bravely battled parvo, seizures, a stroke, and recently received a double Berlin heart to help keep him alive until he can receive a heart transplant. His family is currently staying in Cincinnati, having selflessly moved their family from Indiana. One can only begin to imagine how challenging it is, but they love their boy and ask for your prayers and support.

The road ahead is long, but with faith and perseverance, they will overcome. Doctors say that a new heart could take a year or more to arrive. Even once that miracle comes, the family will be required to live within 30 minutes of the hospital for at least the following three months. That means temporary housing, extra costs, and a life completely uprooted while they fight to keep him alive.

For a family of five, it takes nearly $90,000–$100,000 a year just to survive in Cincinnati, covering housing, utilities, food, transportation, healthcare, school needs, and everyday essentials.
