Monterey's Breast Cancer Awareness Run

In the journey to end cancer as we know it, every step makes a difference. On October 11th, Fleet Feet Monterey, is hosting their 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Walk and Run. Lace up those shoes and show up with like-hearted people who care as we take steps together to support cancer research, increase awareness about and access to screening and treatment, and honor the legacies of those who have courageously lived with breast cancer and other estrogen-related cancers. 

The first 50 participants to check in the morning of the event will receive a FREE pair of Jogology socks and a goodie bag from Brooks! You can register at the event, however for the efficiency and flow of the morning we highly recommend registering before hand. 

Join us in making a difference step by step! Our 5K event is completely FREE but we encourage donations to support the Monterey County Breast Cancer Assistance Group. Our goal is to raise $3000, surpassing last year's achievement.

The event kicks off at 8:15 am with doors opening at 7:45am at Fleet Feet Monterey. The 5K will be an untimed community walk and run, promoting solidarity and support. The course will begin and end at Fleet Feet Monterey, taking participants on an out-and-back route.

We are encouraging you to bring a used/old bra to be donated! Brooks is bringing a few of their bras for you to test run in during your run or walk!
